American Labor Museum
The American Labor Museum's distance learning classes provide students with the opportunity to learn more about the history and contemporary issues of working people and immigrants. Clases serve as a source of inspiration for students to become active members of their community, country and world. To participate, schools must have an ISDN line, videoconferencing equipment, and a monitor.

Battleship New Jersey
The Battleship New Jersey is one of four Iowa-class Battleships built and launched during World War II. It is currently docked at the Camden waterfront and is open for in-person tours. The Battleship also offers the opportunity, through distance learning, to conduct an exercise in oral history with a veteran of America's armed forces. Students will learn about the history of the Battleship New Jersey and its role in World War II, the Korean War, the Vietnam War, and the Beiruit Crisis of the 1980's.

Camden Children's Garden
Is a special place for the young and the young at heart to explore and discover the natural world. Located across the Delaware River from Philadelphia and adjacent to the New Jersey State Aquarium and E-Centre on the Camden New Jersey waterfront, the Garden provides horticultural experiences for creative and imaginative play.

Camden County Technical Schools offers customized professional development for educators at the Camden County Educational Technology Training Center (ETTC), located on the district's Gloucester Township campus. The district has operated the ETTC since it's inception in 1997.

Cape May County Park and Zoo
Cape May County Park and Zoo is considered "The Jewel" of Cape May County. We offer over 15 different topics, including "Animal Kingdom" during which we discuss the similarities and differences between birds, mammals and reptiles, and "Amazing Adaptations" discussing special features that make animals well suited for their life styles. Each program is a combination of live animals, open question and answer time and Powerpoint presentations.

Historic Cold Spring Village
Historic Cold Spring Village, a 22-acre living history museum featuring 25 restored 18th and 19th century structures, offers distance learning programs each school year, Monday through Friday, from October 1st to April30th, between 9 am and 3 pm. Our programs cover a variety of topics relating to life in early 19th century South Jersey. A discounted fee is offered to Garden State Distance Learning Consortium schools.

Liberty Science Center
Where SCIENCE = FUN is located in Liberty State Park, Jersey City, New Jersey. The Center offers Electronic Field Trips as a link to their 250 plus hands-on exhibits and experiences. Some of the most beloved exhibits are exotic insects and reptiles, a video light microscope, real human lungs, and an 80-foot torsional wave tank depicting the Hudson River estuary environments.

Naval Air Station Wildwood
Distance Learning using compressed video and ISDN technology is now available which enables museum educators to interact with students at alternate sites via interactive video/teleconferencing. Students are now able to take "virtual" field trips to NASW as well as actual ones. In addition to development of our video conferencing program, we are presently installing an aviation library which will be incorporated into the Cape May County Library system.

The New Jersey Academy for Aquatic Sciences
The New Jersey Academy for Aquatic Sciences now offers 30 minute electronic field trips. Each program is aligned with New Jersey Core Curriculum Content Standards and National Science Benchmarks. Lessons are approximately 30 minutes long. NJAAS also makes available a free downloadable curriculum companion.

Rutgers-Camden Center for the Arts
RCCA's D'ARTS-Distance Learning in the Arts- program combines dynamic, responsive teaching with high quality artistic content that is conveyed within a cross-curricular content. Classes are offered in two general catagories: Visual Arts in Diverse Curricular Contexts, which teaches in, through, and about visual arts and their links to other disciplines; and Sources for Drama, which teaches various aspects of theatre through an interactive approach. The content of all RCCA's educational programs fulfills the National Arts Education Content Standards and New Jersey Core Curriculum Content Standards for the Arts as well as curricular requirements in language arts, social studies, science, mathematics, and other areas dependent on program selected.

Salem County Historical Society
The Society's distance learning program enables students to learn more about our collections without leaving their classroom. Through live interaction with our volunteer docents, students and teachers can experience some of the same exhibits available during an on-site field trip. Our current program offers live video-conferencing depicting "Colonial Life" as shown from the Society's Keeping Room.

Wetlands Institute of Stone Harbor, New Jersey
Overlooking 6,000 acres of Atlantic coastal wetlands. The Institute is dedicated to "furthering coastal environmental knowledge." Diamondback terrapin conservation, beach biology and avian ecology are all part of the Institute’s research projects. Immerse students into wetland life by a field trip via videoconferencing!

The Museum of Woodbine Heritage
Located in Woodbine New Jersey is truly unique. The Sam Azeez Museum of Woodbine Heritage was created to remember and record the rich past of Woodbine, New Jersey while also actively collecting the materials to preserve its continuing heritage. It is a destination for visitors and a local resource for the entire Woodbine community so that they may continue to use the Woodbine Brotherhood Synagogue building as a place to come together. Built by the early Woodbine colonists, the synagogue is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The sanctuary has been restored and is available for special worship services. The lower level, Brotherhood Hall, houses the museum's permanent and temporary exhibitions. Also included is a community sculpture, the Collective Memory Wall, where the Woodbine community has contributed personal memories of Woodbine.

Fort Mifflin on the Delaware
Located on the Delaware, south of Philadelphia, Fort Mifflin explores the lives, struggles and hardship the American soldier from the Revolutionary period through the Civil War. Programs focus on soldier's lives, the history of the American flag, and medicine in these early years.
